Hundreds of Thousands on Christmas Eve!
It was the oddest thing I’d ever seen at a Christmas Eve service. Some people were walking in off the street “ooh-ing and aah-ing” at the bright decorative lights, sitting for a few moments, listening to the sermon, singing a hymn, and then getting up to leave. It was a constant stream of people sitting down, getting up - coming in, going out.
This is the scene at Chinese Christmas Eve services in Taiwan and China. People have been invited by Christian friends to attend worship because of the special attention given to the birth of the world’s Savior, and the emphasis of the light overcoming darkness. The lights that adorn Chinese churches are spectacular.
As pastors, evangelists, and co-workers ready their churches and their Christmas sermons for hundreds of thousands of first-time worshippers, pray with China Service Ventures that these new visitors will experience the Light of Christ in their lives. Who knows how the prayers for first-time worshippers will be answered! Continue to pray that Christian brothers and sisters will be welcoming ambassadors of Jesus Christ. Pray that God will touch and bless the lives of all those who worship the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Not to be served,
but to serve...
