Health & Nutrition

The Health & Nutrition Venture has expanded to encompass several different projects.

They include:

• Nutrition - When finances are low, nutrition suffers.  We are working to make a positive impact.
• Health Assessment/Nutrition Screening - For the past 3 years, a team of US nurses has traveled to Xinyang and the surrounding area to conduct health assessments and nutrition screenings at three of the district's primary schools. 
• Education (for doctors, nurses, nursing students, and kids) - Health education, whether continuing skills/knowledge education for doctors and nurses, seeing how things are done in the US, or basic health considerations for kids, is not plentiful.  We are pursuing several avenues to lend a hand.
• Providing Equipment/Supply Needs - Imagine taking a taxi to the hospital when you're deathly ill.  Our Chinese friends don't need to imagine it, they live it.

China Service Ventures has worked to develop relationships with the Xinyang and Zheng Zhou Nursing Colleges.  Their students are energetic and engaging and join us in much of the work.
