Fellowship Camp for Children (June 30th - July 3rd) in Irvine, CA

Most Chinese newcomers as children enter into the United States without the support networks of families and friends. The need to connect to exiting Chinese communities while learning to navigate other support cultural communities is of vital importance to acculturation. The search for significance and value is grounded in the child’s relationship with God as loving Father, cultivating the spiritual leaders of the next generation.

HOW WE HELP. This summer, China Service Ventures (CSV) is partnering with First Southern Baptist in Irvine, CA to provide a four-day camp experience with bilingual language instruction in English and Mandarin to facilitate building relationships with God and each other while learning to process their emotions to acculturate in their new environment through sports, crafts, games, music, worship and focused teaching. CSV supplies the support staff and sports equipment. Cost for the camp is $60 (USD).
