Fellowship Camp for Children (June 30th - July 3rd) in Anaheim, CA

Most Chinese newcomers as children enter into the United States without the support networks of families and friends. The need to connect to exiting Chinese communities while learning to navigate other support cultural communities is of vital importance to acculturation. The search for significance and value is grounded in the child’s relationship with God as loving Father, cultivating the spiritual leaders of the next generation.

HOW WE HELP. China Service Ventures (CSV) is partnering with First Southern Baptist in Irvine, CA and Diaspora 200 and the Siloam Education Group to provide a four-day camp experience with bilingual language instruction in English and Mandarin to facilitate building personal relationships with God and others, while learning to process the various emotions associated with acculturation to new living environments. The camp format offers sports, crafts, games, music, worship and focused bibiteaching. CSV supplies the support staff and sports equipment. Cost for the camp is $60 (USD).
