Nellermoes prepare for Service

(Originally posted August, 2014)

In the summers of 2013 and 2014, Jeff and Miriam Nellermoe assisted with our summer youth camps. Feeling called to return to the area and continue the work on a more regular basis, Jeff and Mim are now preparing to move overseas and begin full-time service in early October, 2014.  Jeff and Mim were commissioned at our May 4 Annual Banquet.

They will first travel to Beijing for a period of intensive language training. Once that is complete, they will move south to Henan and work primarily with our Chinese leaders to mentor them and equip them for lives of service.

Jeff graduated with a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Texas Lutheran College (Seguin, TX), and a M. Divinity, honors, from Luther Seminary (St. Paul, MN). He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Utah (Salt Lake City, UT) in Integrated Marketing Communication. His recreational pursuits include motorcycles, horses, skiing, archery, golf, and biking. Aside from sports, he loves to play guitar and sing, watch movies, and read good fiction novels.

Mim graduated with a B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Texas Lutheran College, and a M.A. degree from Augustana Lutheran College (Sioux Falls, SD) in Education. Most recently she coached and taught at Another Way School in Park City, Utah. Mim loves all sports and animals. She grew up in Salt Lake City.

They are in need of your financial support!  China Service Ventures has pledged to support the Nellermoes and their work.  However, as these costs are above and beyond budgeted expenses, we are requesting special mission support for the Nellermoe's sending.

If you are able to assist with this important work, please visit our online donation page and select "Nellermoe Support" when designating your gift.  Donors will receive regular communcation from Jeff and Mim as they live and work overseas.  We thank you for your partnership in this ministry!
